Welcome to my website. I started painting quite by accident in 2005 while putting decorative touches to my home. I have cathedral ceilings throughout my house and the bare walls were crying for attention. I found an old print with a beat up frame tucked in the corner of the warehouse at the paint store I worked in. I took it home with the idea of cleaning it up and hanging it. But I thought it may be fun to paint the scene from the picture on the two open walls in my breakfast room. They were simple Pueblo block houses so how hard could it be? I got some quarts of paint from the store and my step ladder and got to work. They turned out so well that people were complimenting me when they came to visit. Before I knew it I had painted desert scenes in my living room, Acapulco cliff divers in my bedroom, and brick and stone in my foyer. I was hooked. So I bought an acrylic art set and began painting canvas. The rest is history. I've painted murals in homes and hospitals and have had paintings displayed at galleries and businesses in the area. I have even had my work hung at the Georgia state capitol building in Atlanta. Now I am expanding to art festivals where I sell my original paintings and giclee prints as well as hand painted crafts.
